Michelle Gold-Kline
Principal Licensed Conveyancer | Chief Problem Solver
Michelle has been in conveyancing for more than 25 years and started MG Conveyancing in 2019 after deciding there had to be a better way to do things, less legal jargon, more straight answers, and a much more human approach to buying and selling property.
After all those years, she still genuinely loves solving problems, untangling complicated transactions and getting a deal across the line when things aren’t quite going to plan. Which is probably just as well, because Michelle is almost completely incapable of functioning unless there is at least some degree of pressure involved.
She believes clients should always know what is happening, why it matters and what they need to do next, preferably without having to decipher a three-page email full of legal terminology first.

Being a self-confessed stresshead, an inability to sit still, a colourful vocabulary when technology fails, and saying “I’ll just quickly do this” before disappearing down a two-hour rabbit hole
Erica Feng
Senior Licensed Conveyancer | Sydney Office Licensee | Michelle’s Longest-Serving Partner in Conveyancing Crime
Erica and Michelle have been working together for around 15 years, dating back to their days at another conveyancing firm, so it’s fair to say they’ve survived a lot of property transactions together.
After taking a brief break from conveyancing, Erica was minding her own business when Michelle slid into her DMs in 2021 with a casual “What are you doing?” Not long afterwards, she was back in conveyancing and part of the MGC team. (Some recruitment strategies are more sophisticated than others).
Erica is quite simply one of those people who gets things done. She is incredibly hardworking, dependable and has an ability to power through a workload that would make most people quietly close their laptop and go home. She has become an integral part of MGC and, quite simply, Michelle couldn’t do it without her.
As the Licensee of our Sydney office, Erica also has a particular talent for settlement figures especially finding the tiny error Michelle has been staring at for 20 minutes and can no longer see. She is also fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese and can assist clients who are more comfortable communicating in either language.
Most recently, Erica has taken on an entirely new challenge, becoming a mum which may finally be the role capable of making conveyancing look relaxing by comparison.

Julia Halloran
Licensed Conveyancer | Problem Solver | Proof That Good Conveyancers Still Exist
Julia appeared at MGC at exactly the right time, just as Michelle was beginning to lose all hope of finding another conveyancer who shared her work ethic, attention to detail and slightly questionable sense of humour.
Thankfully, Julia turned out to be exactly that person.
An experienced conveyancer with an exceptional work ethic, Julia has the ability to get through an enormous amount of work while remaining calm, organised and ready with the appropriate level of sarcasm when required. She is also Michelle’s unofficial proofreader and sounding board, the person called upon to sense check an email, spot the thing Michelle has missed, or confirm whether something really is as ridiculous as it appears. She fitted into MGC so quickly that it now feels slightly suspicious that we ever managed without her.
The bright purple hair probably should have been our first clue that she wasn’t going to be your stereotypical conveyancer. Add an equally shared inability to take ourselves too seriously, and the rest was history.

Kali Kline
Emotional Support Pooch | Head of Staff Wellbeing
Kali holds one of the most important positions at MG Conveyancing: keeping Michelle relatively calm.
Her responsibilities include emotional support during difficult settlements, supervising office activity, requesting snacks at inappropriate times and providing a much-needed reminder that not every email marked “URGENT” is actually an emergency.
She has no conveyancing qualifications whatsoever and her understanding of NSW property law remains questionable, but her contribution to staff morale is immeasurable.
